Long time ago, the EPS Pre-expander Machine is manually controlled by operator. Through years of development, the machine can be controlled automatically.
Now the density weighting unit is adapted on EPS Pre-expander machine. This system is controlled by touch screen and PLC. There are following function for this device:
- Automatic density calculation
- Density record print
- Big density tolerance warning
The following video shows EPS Pre-expander Machine density weighting unit working process in an EPS factory. The material is sucked into a tank, then the beads fill into the weight unit, an air cylinder pusher will move the top beads and keep the same beads volume in weight unit. After getting the weight, the computer will calculate the density for each cycle.
